Premature Baby Padded Cotton Pramsuit - Pink Little Stars

£25.00
Size

This preemie pramsuit is a soft, lightly padded all-in-one in pink star print cotton, with little bear ears on the hood and covered feet to keep tiny toes warm. It is sized 5-8 lb, for going home from hospital and the first walks out in the pram.

It is part of our Little Stars range and matches the pink Little Stars preemie sleepsuit.

Key Benefits for Premature Babies

  • Sized for premature and small babies at 5-8 lb
  • 100% cotton outer and lining
  • Light padding for warmth on cooler days
  • Hood with little bear ears
  • Covered feet to keep tiny toes warm
  • Popper opening down the front and leg for easier dressing and nappy changes
  • Delicate star print on pink cotton

Also available as a blue Little Stars preemie pramsuit and a white Little Stars preemie pramsuit.

Soft Cotton Inside and Out

The pramsuit has a star print cotton outer and a soft cotton lining, so only cotton sits against your baby's skin. A light layer of padding between the two adds warmth without the bulk of a heavy snowsuit.

When to Use a Pramsuit

A pramsuit is made for outdoors, so it is one for the journey home and the weeks after rather than for the NICU, where babies are kept warm by their incubator or cot. Take it off once you are indoors, as babies should not sleep in hoods or outdoor layers. For car journeys, take padded layers off before fastening the car seat harness and tuck a blanket over the straps instead, so the harness can sit snugly.

Choosing the Right Size

Available in 5-8 lb. Choose by your baby's current weight rather than their age. A pramsuit with a little room is easier to dress and lasts longer as your baby grows.
